Rembering the Sacred.

Many people view the word sacred as that being linked to religion. Anything that beholds deep mystery and perfection.

Today, I am not going to talk about religion. There is something far more important than religion and if it best suits you to relate the word sacred to that pertaining to something in a religion then let that be your BODY.

Embedded with thoughtful mystery, the body indeed is PERFECT. It would have to be, to survive all the challenges set against it, external to its protective womb and yet, a life that is born is never in vain and thus deserves a chance to continue to flourish within the Divine.

It is only when we do not understand or sadly are not aware that our bodies are perfect and therefor treat it in any means we see fit. But are you not aware that despite the abuse you give it, your body seeks to survive for that opportunity to show you that the beauty within you can also be connected to the beauty that surrounds you?

There is not a need for understanding the body for it holds a genetic blueprint of eternal existence. You just merely need to trust that it is there for you - working for you, aiding you in achieving your life's goal .. if that is what you so desire. Often, you choose not to listen to your body, nor heed its warnings when you are about to encounter danger.

If you cannot learn to listen to your body, then your time on earth will be sadly wasted, as you continue to operate with your mind separate from your heart.

Many people look at the world in abstract eventhough they believe it is not in abstract. Many people continue to believe that the mind is one thing and the body is another and the heart is yet another separate dimension.

But few realize that they are all one in the same as they are all meant to exist in harmony, housed by a physical body, only temporarily - until you find a way to transcend the physical and operate thru SOUL.

A day without ANGST

A day without ANGST can exist. This state can be realized simply by remembering a few rules of the Universe.

1. All states of being ( from disease, including nature, thru to relationships of any kind ) have a lifespan that has its own course of progress whose cycle NEEDS to be completed.

2. Energy is neither created nor destroyed. It is merely transformed. Once you recognize what the energy is, you have the choice of where you want it to be directed.

3. You will always have the FREEDOM to choose how to behave in any situation. Regardless of DIVINE PROVIDENCE or INTERVENTION, one always has the initial choice on how one wants to react.

4. The Universe has its own rhythm. I cannot stress this enough. Nature has its own rhythm, as does LIFE ( I'm being redundant here for a purpose ). Unless you learn to accept this, you will always choose to be in conflict with TRUTH.

5. You ARE where you NEED to be.

6. "As Above, So Below" - small acts impact the greater scheme of things thru all levels, from microscopic to the cosmic realm - this fact is true.

Think on these few things. I can name more Universal Rules/Laws but you will begin to see an underlying pattern in all of them. I call them Rules/Laws because the 3 dimensional mind has learned to take comfort in things that are defined under rules/laws. In TRUTH, there are really no rules or laws that the Universe follows - for IT JUST IS.

Today I choose to live without angst. Tomorrow I will choose to live the same way and the day after that. And with these succession of choices I will learn that it will no longer be a choice but a way TO BE. And by then, I will know that I have learned to dance and move to the rhythm of LIFE.

You can do the same.

My Body as History

If you like history then you can appreciate how the body can be seen as a map of your life, a diary if you like or for those of you more logistically inclined, a flowchart of your existence.

On days where I allow myself to be human in every three dimensional sense of the term, I catch episodes of Dr. 90210, just because. People getting liposuction, tummy tucks, breast augmentation and a plethora of other procedures to sculpt and basically change the way a person looks, and often claims of how a person will feel about themselves after the procedures.

I have learned thru several episodes to not judge what I see and what they do. Often it can be challenging, but a show like this can be used as practice for being non-judgemental. A practice we all can benefit from.

This brings to mind definitions of what a perfect body actually is. Often, people's perception of a perfect body has been formed from consistent manipulation by the media of what is acceptable and what is not. Sadly, this misconception largely focuses on the physical aspects of a person and this focus often leaves out the many other features and body types that are associated by other races.

Media mind-play allows people to envision their physical bodies into a certain prototype that is usually not attainable by natural means. They often undergo artificial modes to achieve that mediahyped perfection.

As I look down at my body, the few folds of skin and fat that makes the scar from a c-section slightly crooked, I smile.

It seems now, that the c-section scar is the only physical proof that my son Jordan ever did exist.

Being me, I believe that his soul and spirit always was and always will be. The removal of the scar will never remove the truth that he ever was. But I like history. Call me sentimental, but I like the scar I have that runs not horizontally, as in a bikini line but vertically. The scar brings to me very real memories of moments of a time in my life when Jordan was created, where he grew and when he entered this world.

As I am not one to fixate on any 'thing', nor am I one to be attached to any material, emotion or other, I find that this scar is a mark of my 'humaness' and from there I am anchored to this three dimensional plane, ever seeking a way to get out.

Letter 1: On Sharing

I sit on the bed cross legged and slightly hunched over the keyboard that is only illuminated by the glow of the screen. It is approaching 3:30 am central time and like clock work, the sound of the train passing by serves as backdrop to the musical notes of the birds outside.

Their singing (of the birds) never cease.

I take great comfort in this sound, especially in the silence of the night. Silence that marks the absence of the usual daytime grind.

Everything thus far has been a succession of speeds and visuals in my life. Poignant times are marked with clear memory while others are motioned blurs. Lately, my months have been marked by slow motion waves that undulate the positive and negative energies that is inherent in living a three dimensional life and I have found my 'self' to have been coasting along quite fine. "Quite fine" is subjective. Ojectively, from others point of view, the story can be told differently.

I find that is always the case with humans that somehow like to delve into the lives of others while not focusing on their own.

As this slow motion continues I find this to be an ideal time to share not only a human experience, but one that has been merging consciously with the spirit and that of the earth, dare I mention to say - the universe.

For those of you that already know me thru blogging, this will come as no surprise. For those of you that are new to my thoughts, I suggest you read what you read and take what you want from it, or you can choose to take nothing at all. And to those that claim to know me by personal/physical association, I delight in your discovery of really not knowing me at all.

Knowing: is really based on some level of your perception coined with whatever experiences you have that may relate and perhaps enhanced by some form of information that you have gathered from texts and speech.

Knowing may be relative. Unless of course you have managed to live a life of constant awareness of the greater consciousness.

So, creating this blog has been a conscious choice, this time. Not to say that all the other blogs have been created unconsciously. Only that this one has a focus and a plan that I feel will be more beneficial than my other ones. That is what I am hoping.
